Application of small structure Z-shape pipes to large diameter direct-buried heating pipelines

Aiming at the problem of whether the small structure Z-shape pipe can be applied to the large diameter direct-buried heating pipeline as pipe compensator, performs numerical simulation and theoretical calculation for three kinds of small structure Z-shape pipes. The results indicate that the Z-shape pipe with a compensation arm length of 1.1 to 2 times the elastic arm length can be used as compensator. In case of the same compensation, the stress of the Z-shape pipe is smallest when the length of compensation arm is 1.1 to 1.2 times the elastic arm length. The stress increases obviously when the length of compensation arm is smaller than the elastic arm length, resulting in unsuitable application as compensator.
